Job Description


We are seeking someone with strong experience in marketing automation technology, process and data. Manages a variety of marketing applications to drive marketing effectiveness.   Will be responsible for taking the lead on all Marketing automation platforms and projects.  This role reports to marketing leadership and supports the broader marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of the Marketing Automation Platform and related technologies
  • Continually apply best practices to our marketing automation platform and key technologies
  • Drive continuous improvement in Marketing Automation and related processes
  • Develop and execute global strategies to maximize and optimize the database quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Develop and execute segmentation across database(s). 
  • Implement best practices for managing, maintaining and reporting of the Marketing database contacts
  • Track, test, and analyze data relating to database metrics to improve and optimize Marketing contact database and leads generated
  • Implement lead scoring methodologies
  • Marketing attribution – work with marketing analytics to track and report on marketing ROI
  • SFDC integration – represent Marketing requirements and plug ins for planned SDFC migration
  • Manage vendor relationships for designated Marketing applications
  • Work closely with the web team to improve the capturing of information of web visitors’ activities via Web forms and the CMS system
  • Maintain existing interfaces with other systems, build new interfaces as required and manage acquisition integration of marketing systems.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a strong operational bent and demand generation best practices understanding.  Also has a real passion for data and insights; ongoing experimentation and optimization mindset required. Proven project management experience with cross-functional planning, facilitating, coordinating and reporting on the execution of numerous projects.   In addition he/she will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing automation and operations in a B2B company, software preferred
  • Understanding of campaign strategies and execution for Lead management and reporting on demand gen effectiveness
  • Advanced skills using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Have at least 5 years of Marketing Automation platform experience (Eloqua 10 preferred), CRM experience (MS Dynamics preferred, SFDC helpful) and Content Management System experience (Sitecore preferred)
  • Ability to lead and manage in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrable communication skills in a fast-paced environment
